About the Author

Greetings! My name is Tim DeMoss, and I've been entrusted with the exciting but humbling task of putting The Larry Norman Story together. Over the past 19 years I've been in radio, I've had the privilege of speaking with many artists, athletes, and other public figures. The main reason? Relationship. Life is all about relationships, starting with the one God wants to have with each of us. The interviews I do are geared toward better knowing the guest but even more importantly, helping people consider their relationship (or lack thereof) with God.

I like the audience and artists to know I'm rooting for them and that my goal is to support them however I can. This does not mean being fluffy, cheesy or light on substance. On the contrary, it may include difficult subjects. But in the end, getting an exclusive or stirring the pot is not the goal. Rather, the goal is helping both guest and listener (myself included!) to be steered toward Jesus in some way.

I strive for accuracy, fairness and fun. Larry agreed to me writing this book because he believes I will be able to do the job in such fashion. I look forward to the challenge and welcome your input as well!

Tim DeMoss has conducted hundreds of interviews during his 19 years in radio. He has hosted every daypart (mornings, middays, afternoons, evenings & overnights) and currently produces an evening show heard on The Word-FM Network (PA/NJ/NY/MD/VA, also heard online at www.wordfm.org) 6pm-10pm Eastern time Monday through Friday. He covers the Phillies, Flyers and Eagles sports teams and has consulted for Sirius Satellite Radio's Revolution 67 (rock) channel and also has done mobile disc jockey work the past 19 years.
